More About Us

The Bonita Democratic Council (BDC), proudly serves the foothill communities of La Verne and San Dimas.  BDC is charted by the Los Angeles County Democratic Central Committee (LACDCC) and is affiliated with the California Democratic Council (CDC). BDC is registered with the IRS as a 527 political organization.

The Bonita Democratic Council shall focus its efforts within the cities of San Dimas and La Verne; and shall build its membership from registered Democrats within the two communities and surrounding cities. The Club shall endeavor to stimulate an active interest in governmental affairs, to publicize local, state and national activities, contribute to the awareness and influence of the ideals, principles and philosophy of the Democratic Party, and to identify, encourage, and actively support local Democratic candidates for all levels of elected office.

We are not just about one campaign, one candidate, or one election cycle. We ARE about building up local communities, a California, and an America that we can all be proud of—communities, a state, and country that cares about providing the opportunity and promise of the American dream to all its citizens.
