The Bonita Democratic Council (BDC), proudly serving the over 23,000 registered Democrats in Glendora,  La Verne and San Dimas, is the official club of local Democrats. BDC is chartered by the Los Angeles County Democratic Central Committee (LACDCC) and is affiliated with the California Democratic Council (CDC). BDC is registered with the IRS as a 527 political organization.

The Bonita Democratic Council shall focus its efforts within the cities of Glendora, La Verne and San Dimas; and shall build its membership from registered Democrats within the three communities and surrounding cities. The Club shall endeavor to stimulate an active interest in governmental affairs, to publicize local, state and national activities, contribute to the awareness and influence of the ideals, principles and philosophy of the Democratic Party, and to identify, encourage, and actively support local Democratic candidates for all levels of elected office.

Our members register and welcome new citizens as Democrats at the Fairplex Naturalization Ceremonies. Our members staff the Democratic Party booth during the L.A. County Fair.  We walk our neighborhoods, engage our neighbors, make phone calls, and support GOTV efforts.

We are not just about one campaign, one candidate, or one election cycle. We ARE about building a local community and an America that we can all be proud of—A community and country that cares about providing the opportunity and promise of the American dream to ALL its citizens.

We will endeavor to achieve Democratic Victory in 2008 from the President’s Office down to state and local positions.
